Terms of Service

Last updated: October 30, 2026

The short version: you own your content, you’re responsible for what you upload and who you invite, paid plans renew until cancelled, and you agree to use Reelway lawfully. Please read the full terms below.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Reelway (“Reelway”, “we”, “us”). By creating a workspace, signing in, or otherwise using the Reelway website or application (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or studio, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and “you” includes that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Reelway is a workspace for video production studios to manage clients, projects, editing pipelines, client reviews, and invoices. We may add, change, or remove features. We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce the functionality of a paid plan.

3. Accounts and workspaces

  • You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential.
  • The workspace owner decides who joins the workspace and what role each member has, and is responsible for the actions of its members.
  • Your workspace address is chosen at sign-up and cannot be changed afterwards.
  • Tell us promptly at the contact address below if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Your content

You own your content. “Content” means videos, footage, files, comments, client details, invoices, and anything else you or your invitees or reviewers submit to the Service. We claim no ownership of it.

You grant Reelway a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display your content solely to operate, secure, and provide the Service to you and the people you choose to share it with. This license ends when your content is deleted, subject to the retention periods in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have all rights needed to upload and share your content and to share it with reviewers, and that it does not infringe or violate any person’s rights or any law. You are responsible for obtaining any consents required to store your clients’ personal data in the Service and for the content of review links you send.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload or share content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, exploitative of minors, or that incites violence or hate;
  • use the Service to distribute malware, phishing, spam, or deceptive material;
  • access another user’s account or workspace without permission, or probe, scan, or test the Service’s security;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, or overload it through automated means;
  • reverse engineer, copy, resell, or sublicense the Service, except as the law permits;
  • circumvent plan limits, storage quotas, or technical restrictions; or
  • use the Service in violation of applicable law or the terms of any third-party platform you connect.

We may remove content or suspend access that violates these Terms or creates risk for others, and will give notice where practical.

6. Plans, billing, and trials

  • Reelway offers paid subscription plans. Plan features, limits, and prices are shown on our website and in the app, and are billed in Egyptian pounds (EGP) unless stated otherwise.
  • New workspaces start with a 7-day free trial of our first plan, with no payment details required. When the trial ends you need to subscribe to a plan to keep using Reelway; you are not charged unless you subscribe.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • Payments are processed by our third-party provider, Kashier. You authorize us and our provider to charge your chosen payment method. We do not store your full card details.
  • Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy: you can request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment. After that, and except where the law requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable and we do not refund partial periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us.
  • We may change prices on at least 30 days’ notice. The new price applies from your next renewal.
  • If your trial ends without a subscription, or a payment fails, we may restrict access to your workspace until you subscribe. If usage exceeds your plan's limits (for example storage), you may be unable to add new content until you upgrade or reduce usage.
  • Taxes are your responsibility unless we state they are included.

Invoices you create for your own clients in Reelway are between you and your clients. Reelway is not a party to those transactions and does not guarantee payment.

7. Third-party services and Meta platforms

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party products, including Meta products, YouTube, payment processors, and email providers. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. If you connect a Meta product, you must comply with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, and you can revoke access at any time in that product’s settings. Reelway is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc.

8. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by Reelway and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your internal business purposes under these Terms. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

10. Referral program

Workspace owners and admins can share a personal referral link. If someone creates a new workspace with your link, they receive a discount on their first payment, and once that payment is completed you earn a one-time cash commission calculated as a percentage of the amount they actually paid. The current discount and commission rates are shown in the app and may change for future sign-ups.

  • Self-referrals, duplicate or fake accounts, and referrals made by misleading or spamming people are not eligible, and we may void them.
  • Commissions are held for a refund period after the payment. If the payment is refunded or charged back, the commission is cancelled.
  • Commissions are paid manually to the payout details you provide in the app. You are responsible for keeping them correct and for any taxes that apply to your earnings.
  • We may change, suspend, or end the referral program, or withhold commissions in cases of suspected abuse, at any time.

11. Privacy and data protection

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. For personal data of your clients and reviewers that you put into the Service, you are the controller and we act as your processor; you are responsible for having a lawful basis and for giving the notices required by law. You can request deletion of your data at any time through our Data Deletion page.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your workspace through our Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that creates legal or security risk. On termination your right to use the Service ends; we will keep your content for a short period (up to 30 days) so you can retrieve it, unless the law or the nature of the violation prevents it, and then delete it under our retention schedule. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability, and governing law — will survive.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REELWAY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT CONTENT WILL NEVER BE LOST. KEEP YOUR OWN BACKUPS OF ORIGINAL FOOTAGE AND IMPORTANT FILES.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REELWAY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO REELWAY IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (OR EGP 1,000 IF YOU HAVE ONLY USED THE FREE TRIAL). NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW, SUCH AS FOR FRAUD OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT.

15. Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify Reelway against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or any person’s rights.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The competent courts of Cairo, Egypt have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where mandatory consumer or data-protection law in your country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you may cancel and stop using the Service.

18. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Reelway about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of the business. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
